ElemPick is a straightforward browser add-on designed for users who need to generate CSS Selectors and XPath expressions for HTML elements on web pages. This free tool operates within the Chrome platform and does not require any permissions, ensuring user privacy. By simply clicking on the toolbar icon and selecting the desired element, users can easily copy the generated path to their clipboard with a single click.
The program features dual algorithm support, allowing users to choose between ElemPick's internal algorithm or Chromium's. It also includes a context menu option for quick access, DOM traversal buttons for easy navigation of nearby elements, and limited support for Shadow DOM and Same-Origin Iframes. The user interface is built with Material Design, providing an intuitive experience while optimizing paths and selecting preferred quote styles.
